Christine Lavin's COOKBOOK and CD entitled ONE MEATBALL. All songs about FOOD. My song THE HEARTBREAK DIET is included, and my mother's recipe for Forgotten Cookies is also included.
I can't believe it myself, but after all the years that Nanci has honored me by recording my songs, I have finally had the privilege of recording one of her songs for this beautiful tribute record.
This has one of my all time favorite versions of From A Distance. It features Nanci Griffith singing in English and French, Donna Summer singing in German and Raul Malo singing in Spanish. It was used back in 1996 for that Atlanta Summer Olympics.
